CSAC Divers Contribute Images to Charity Calendar

Five divers from CSAC have contributed all of the images of wrecks to this year’s Lifeboat Fund charity calendar. The images include dive sites from the UK which include the famous SS James Eagan Layne to more exotic locations such as the USS Kittiwake which was sunk off Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman. This variation in dive sites highlights the breadth of diving CSAC undertakes on expeditions around the globe.

The Lifeboat Fund is an official charity of the Civil Service that exists for one purpose: to help the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) - the charity that saves lives at sea. The charity’s big news is its Anniversary Appeal seeks to fundraise £1.1m towards the cost of a Shannon - the latest class of all-weather lifeboat. The Lifeboat Fund has purchased 52 boats in the past 150 years, those lifeboats have saved more than 4,700 lives.

The price of each desktop calendar is only £5.00, 100% of which goes to the lifeboat funds 150th anniversary appeal. As a special offer if you buy 2 or more calendars you get a free gift of either a cuddly toy or a snap band.

If you wish to buy an amazing calendar please email james_hennessey@hotmail.com with your order.
